Mumbai is a very complex Redevelopment market. Even though the DCPR 2034 is the governing set of rules, the past & location of any society is a huge hurdle in Redevelopment. Over and above, the Real Estate has been reeling under bad patch for almost 10 years from 2008 & last 4 years have really been worse with delay in bringing this DCPR, the Central and State elections, to top up with 2 years of disastrous lock down due to Covid.

The Year 2022 has come with a ray of hope. But this has also led to sudden rush for commencing projects, creating tremendous opportunities for new ventures, although sustainability will remain a challenge.
